Patricia is an accomplished International Contemporary Artist. She is the President of Patricia Karen Gagic Art Enterprises Inc. represented by Gallery on the Bay in Hamilton, Ontario, Artworld Fine Art in Toronto, Art Productions New York, F@CEC in France and Paul Fisher Gallery in West Palm Beach and Miami. Patricia has exhibited her art in many countries around the world such as Britain, Germany, France, Austria, and Switzerland. In 1999, Patricia began her studies with master artist Dragan Dragic in Savoillan, France. In 2007, she was an Honorary Commissioner at the 52nd Venice Biennale in support of Transcendental Realism – art of Adi Da Samraj.
In December 2018, Patricia received the Gold Medal in Photography from the Salon Nationale Beaux Arts (SNBA) at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. She is also the recipient of the Silver Medal by the Societe Academique Arts, Sciences and Letters of France and she is recognized as a Top 60 Masters by ATIM in New York. In addition to her artwork, Patricia is an award winning author. She has written the books “Karmic Alibi” and “Karma and Cash”. Karmic Alibi received the 2017 Book Excellence Award, was an award finalist in the 2014 USA Best Book Awards, and a finalist in 2015 International Book Awards, all in the non-fiction narrative category. She is currently in the process of finalizing the following publications: “The Black Snowflake”, “Thirsters and Quenchers”, and “The Mind of an Artist” with an expected release sometime in 2020. She has co-authored in several best-seller books including: “The Voices of Inspiration”, “RockStar Success Stories”, “Rock Your Life”, and “Sexy without Boundaries”. Patricia has spoken on stages including the Harvard Club of Boston and in September 2019 at Carnegie Hall in New York.
Patricia is a dedicated humanitarian with projects in Haiti and Cambodia. She is a member of the Ontario Cabinet for Friends of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, a member of the Sir Edmund Hilary Foundation Board of Directors and an Advisor to AiDa, Academy of Imagination and Dramatic Arts. Due to her involvement in many categories, Patricia is the recipient of many awards, nominations, and recognition. In 2013 she was knighted as a Dame of the International Order of St. George Grand Prior of Canada.
She has won and been nominated by the “Status of Women’s -Woman of the Year”, “YMCA Peace Medal”, “YWCA Women of Distinction and the Award of Excellence by the Toronto Women’s Expo”. Patricia was recognized by Women’s Executive Network as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada, awarded the BMO Arts and Communication category in 2015. In 2016 Patricia was the WXN Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada recipient in the Royal Bank Champions category. She received the WXN Top 100 award in the BMO Arts and Communication category in 2017. In 2018 Patricia was inducted into the WXN Top 100 Most Powerful Women Hall of Fame. When Patricia isn’t painting, writing, or leading humanitarian projects, she loves to meditate. She is a Certified Meditation Specialist/Facilitator completing her Certification in Applied Mindfulness and Transformative Mindfulness and Mindfulness without Borders from Factor Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto
