Maureen Tabuchi is a solutions-focused Senior Executive, Entrepreneur, and Thought Leader with more than 25 years of success in legal services. Leveraging extensive legal experience across wills & estate planning, real estate, tax planning and consulting, and corporate law, she is a valuable asset for startup and growth-stage companies seeking comprehensive legal advisory. Throughout her executive career, Maureen has founded several legal services companies including WillsandEstates.Lawyer, the Legal Assistant Institute, and Tabuchi Law Professional Corporation. Through her firm’s “Virtual In-House Lawyer” program, she has assisted numerous startups with incorporation, agreements, tax planning, and numerous additional topics associated with new business launch and development. Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Maureen was a Tax Specialist in M&A with Ernst & Young.

A highly sought-after and respected Thought Leader in her field, Maureen is an international best-selling author with publications including Divorce 2.0 and a contribution to Empowering Women to Succeed: Tough Times Don’t Last But Tough Women Do. She is an accomplished continuing education Instructor with courses including RECO and FSPC Credit Courses: The Taxation of Real Estate, Intensive Wills and Estate Planning Law Course, and courses for the Oakville, Milton, and District Real Estate Board and the Law Society of Upper Canada. Maureen holds a BA, with honors, in Economics and Philosophy from Western University, an LLB with concentrations in Tax and Estate Planning from the University of Victoria, and a Masters in Taxation from the University of Waterloo.
