Alex is a technical marketer who runs a digital marketing agency in Toronto, Canada. His team manages Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising accounts of several national advertisers.
Alex first learned PPC when a relative asked for help with his local contractor business. The two became business partners, grew the business and eventually sold it to one of their workers.
Engineer by education, Alex used to manage software projects for companies like P&G, Colgate, and McDonald's. When the software consulting firm he was with needed to step up their marketing, Alex thought it would be a fun project to take on. That's when he discovered Perry Marshall and direct response marketing.
After quitting his job, Alex ran lead gen campaigns for the local business he co-owned and did freelance marketing work for tech startups in Toronto and the Silicon Valley. Two of his clients reached successful exits. The teams had a big payday. Freelancers got fired.
Determined not to have all the eggs in one basket anymore, Alex launched a digital marketing agency. He has built a team of media buyers capable of solving complex issues related to data, conversion tracking, and attribution.
